
16–19 September | London Unmasked presents: Spiral Tribe Exhibition and Rave For four days, London will host a programme dedicated to the history, legacy and ongoing influence of Spiral Tribe and the free party movement. The exhibition brings together original photographs, flyers, artwork, video, sound and archival material, alongside stories from the people who helped shape one of the most influential underground movements of the last three decades. Across four days, the programme includes workshops, panel talks, film screenings, live Q&As and music from members of the original Spiral Tribe crew and invited guest DJs. Programme highlights: Wednesday 16 September | 6pm - 12am Grand Opening of the exhibition with music from Meltdown Mickey and Ixindamix. Thursday 17 September | 4pm - 12am Free Rap Jam Workshop with Sim Simmer, MC Scallywag and ADHG's Crew, followed by From Free Party to Future Culture, a panel talk and audience Q&A featuring members of Spiral Tribe, Joe Rush (Mutoid Waste Company), Odyssey and RMS. Friday 18 September | 2pm - 12am Space Pirates Screen Print Workshop with Mark Angelo, followed by a screening of Free Party: A Folk History and a live Q&A with director Aaron Trinder, Alessandro Ugo and special guests. Saturday 19 September | 12pm - 6pm Closing day of the exhibition with the Creative Corner – Design a Logo workshop and guest DJs throughout the afternoon. 10pm - 7am The celebration continues with the SP23 Rave event at Distillery N17. ꩜꩜꩜꩜꩜꩜꩜ Exhibition entry is free with a ticket reservation. Selected talks and screenings require separate tickets, while optional supporter tickets are available to help support independent cultural projects. More than an exhibition, this is four days of conversation, participation and music celebrating a movement whose influence continues to shape underground culture today. ꩜꩜꩜꩜꩜꩜꩜ Supporter tickets are also available for those wishing to contribute to the project and help keep independent culture alive. Contributions directly support venue costs, production, workshops, screenings and guest participation.
