FUTURO takes you on a musical trip filled with house, italo, electro and synthpop. Shimmering synths, infectious rhythms and driving beats flow seamlessly into one another as the DJs take you from one record to the next. For our 40th anniversary, we’re going all out with Rotterdam italo, electro and house legend David Vunk, who has been behind the decks since the ’90s and has played at EKKO before. Together with Justin Verkijk, DJ and creator of The Beat on 3FM and Bakkie Bakkie, he’ll deliver a night packed with familiar classics, unexpected gems and dancefloor discoveries. And of course, EKKO itself will be fully transformed into the FUTURO world: warmly decorated, complete with screen-printed vintage clothing, a sultry scent and maybe even a fortune teller. A celebratory night to head home with happy ears, tired legs and a head full of stories.
