Truncate is the project of Los Angeles DJ and producer David Flores, whose roots stretch back to Southern California’s warehouse and rave scene of the early ’90s. Built around raw, stripped-back techno, his sound is defined by tightly engineered grooves, hypnotic repetition and an instinct for getting maximum impact from minimal elements. Decades of DJing and production feed into an approach that remains direct, functional and unmistakably connected to the dancefloor.
