No velvet ropes, no VIP access, no bottle service, no suits, no paparazzi, no valet, no green room, no backstage. We are not there to see and be seen. We are not there for a selfie, a story, or a hashtag. We don’t go to hear the song we hear on the radio every day. We don’t go to worship that one DJ who is going to change our lives. We don’t go because everyone else is going. So why do we go and what is it? It’s a release, a sigh of relief, that moment with someone we just met but feel like we have known since way back. We go to be free, to be present, to open our mind to new music and experiences. We go to cleanse our souls. You might think that’s profound. But really, it’s no big deal. Come see what it’s all about on Dec 12 as Thee Mike B, Scott T, DSD, and Blair Minor tee off the inaugural event. — NBD
