BILLY AZURDIA Like the gradients of light and shadow on a moonlit forest, Billy Azurdia's debut full length, "El Bosque" explores the intimate contrast of grief and joy. Azurdia weaves words of nature and reflection, marrying folk with a menagerie of genres. GIRL HAZEL Once described as “the twinkle of a muskrat’s eye” Girl Hazel sings of smoky forests, atomic bombs, and over and over again, love. The IE 5 piece whispers and howls, sharp eyed and pulsating, chasing the wind whichever way it blows. Girl Hazel is an identity in flux: one with all the colors inside.
