Doors open - 3:30pm Step into the golden age of orchestral jazz, where lush strings, virtuosic musicianship and the unmistakable glamour of classic Hollywood meet the timeless swing of jazz. Founded in autumn 2025 by conductor and arranger Jashandeep Reehal, Holland Park Sinfonia celebrates the extraordinary sound of the great studio orchestras of the 1930s and 1940s. Inspired by the music of Hollywood’s golden age and the iconic jazz recordings of the Swing era, the orchestra brings this distinctive musical tradition to life through original arrangements, classic songs and the rich interplay of strings and jazz. Bringing together a new generation of exceptional musicians from across London, Holland Park Sinfonia made its debut performing works by legendary film composers Erich Wolfgang Korngold and Max Steiner. Now, following a standout appearance at Ladbroke Hall’s Patron Social over the summer, the orchestra returns to the Hall for its highly anticipated concert debut. For this special performance, the orchestra will be joined by rising star Camille Rose, whose captivating voice and expressive phrasing evoke the spirit of jazz greats Ella Fitzgerald and Amy Winehouse. Together, they will revisit the sounds of a remarkable musical era, blending the elegance of orchestral arrangements with the energy, spontaneity and swing of a live jazz band.
