Follow us on IG for the latest news: @synesthesia_sound_system ALIVE was created to promote (electronic) live artists. Our collective values artists who take risks to craft on the spot the motion of the night with their own machines. Collin Bender: "When you play a modular synth live, you are not pressing play. You are conducting an ongoing accident. You set up a patch, you give it energy, and you spend the rest of the time negotiating with the current. It is never completely under control, and that’s the entire point." The Curators (by order): Dark Arps Mmat Carmen Using hybrid modular rigs to serve you, from deep & groovy sounds to darker & faster rhythms. The spark for this project was lit in the European underground alongside our sound system project. Some of us were raised with the Free Tekno movement, where artists play endlessly on hardware machines, far from the spotlight, where ephemeral music makes the crowd synchronized with huge sound systems, where the exact same music is never played & heard again... Sound by: Synesthesia Sound System Location: TBA - will be shared by email to all ticket holders.
