PUNK'S NOT DEAD Dezerter is one of the most important Polish punk rock bands. It was formed in Warsaw in 1981, originally under the name SS-20. The band was known for its fast, aggressive music and lyrics criticizing the communist government, the police, and social problems. During martial law, the band changed its name to Dezerter. It became a symbol of rebellion and independent music, especially among young people. The band performed at the famous Jarocin Festival and released several influential albums. Dezerter is considered a legend of Polish punk rock and continues to perform today. \- Fantazmaz is a punk rock band based in London. The band was formed in 2020 and has Brazilian roots. Their music combines hardcore punk with social and political lyrics. The band is known for its loud, energetic and chaotic live performances. Fantazmaz released their self-titled debut album in 2025. One of their popular songs is “Distortion”, which was named Track of the Week by Metal Hammer. The band continues to perform and release new music, including the 2026 single “Violator.” Fantazmaz is a good example of modern punk music that focuses on rebellion, social problems and strong emotions.
