Schooled in the poetic tradition of Brazilian singer-songwriting greats such as Rodrigo Maranhão and Chico Buarque, he earned a Latin GRAMMY nomination for Best Brazilian Popular Music Album. Last year he marked 50 years of life, and over the span of his career has seen collaborations with Caetano Veloso, Miguel Araújo, and many more, having earned a #1 on the national sales charts, and a string of acclaimed awards.
