**Molly Horses** has not so quietly been picking up traction in the LA underground scene since 2023, most recently culminating in the release of their debut EP “Clang Clang,” released on Solid Brass records in the summer to 2025. Instrumentation that sounds “less like an instrument and more like a cutting tool,” rhythms that “feel punishing but never loose,” (It’s Psychedelic Baby! Magazine) and lyrics that “always slice like a sharp knife” (The Devil’s Mouth) come together to pay homage to acts such as Shellac, Minutemen, and Protomartyr while triangulating their own sound. Members Harry Hook, Tim Wright, Marlena Schwenck, and Cormac Shirer Brown are currently hard at work preparing to record their full-length LP in November of 2026. **LOCH** is a band from Los Angeles, California formed in 2025, which consists of members Kristine Nevrose, Nathan Valle, Andrew Valle, and Oscar Ruvalcaba. A group pieced together, though melded intrinsically, the project began as an idea between brothers Nathan Valle and Andrew Valle. After writing and recording the music over drum samples and electronics, it was decided to take it further. With influences deriving from life, human progression, transformation, chaos, space, and time; it became apparent that this project should be left as an open canvas, without any limitations. While piecing the band together, LOCH’s first release, “The Invisible Hand” was created. The drum and bass heavy music lets the warped vocals and guitar/synth decorations breathe. Swirly delays and cavernous reverbs create the sonic development for this group's hybrid sound of industrial, punk, rock, psychedelia, avant-garde, noise, and electronic music. The band inevitably continues to evolve the songs as they become re-interpreted and re-imagined in live settings with hints of improvisation.
