# DJ Disciple — 40 Years of House Music | Brooklyn Awards Night **40 YEARS OF MUSIC. BROOKLYN BORN. BROOKLYN RAISED. BROOKLYN RECOGNIZED.** On Saturday, November 14, 2026, Brooklyn's own DJ Disciple will be honored for 40 years of contributions to house music at DJ Debonair & Michael J Productions Awards Night, an evening celebrating music, achievement, and community. For four decades, DJ Disciple has helped shape and represent New York City's house music culture. From his early days in Brooklyn's underground music scene to performing at clubs and festivals around the world, his journey has taken him across continents, introducing audiences to the soulful, underground sounds of New York house music.
