The vibe and energy for this one is chill and relaxed, we wanted to give everyone the opportunity to come to an RHYTHM EXPRESS without felling to have to party all night but instead have a cozy Sunday evening with amazing selectors For this Edition we’re hosting at CIAO CIAO for the first which is an amazing open space and the perfect mix between dace floor and bar. For the opening and closing slots we will have our resident Djs HEFTY and CBR who you already heard before. But besides us we are super happy to have two new faces joining us DPM Javi and Morisia. Introducing Spanish-born and Berlin based selector DPM Javi who rides between the swing of warm house music and the deeper edges of techno and that mostly on wax, occasionally on digital waves too. Besides that he’s Co-founder of Unlimited Euphoria, label and event platform that works on creating spaces for artists and audiences to connect. His sound takes particular inspiration from stripped-back tech house records of the late 90s and early 00s. Originally from Sardinia and now part of Berlin’s underground scene, Morisia grew up surrounded by jazz and soul, later finding her way into the sounds of 80s house from Chicago and Detroit. As a DJ she brings together deep, soulful, garage and classic house, her sets move between warm vocals, jazzy touches to funky grooves and punchy bass lines. Balancing soulful moments with a rawer, more playful energy. With an ear for timeless records she creates a sound that feels both familiar and fresh.
