During a performance, they often fail to connect as deeply as they could. The frenetic pace of the party takes over, turning the set into a race towards a climactic moment that can overshadow everything that led to it. We felt the need to stretch that time. To expand it into an intimate space where connections can develop and something unexpected can unfold. CCL and Piezo will chart this expanded space-time together: an extended session rooted in research, aesthetics and eclecticism, devoted to creating the conditions for everyone present to express themselves on their own terms. Completing this four-way exchange, Bass Unity Sound System will give physical weight and dimension to the dialogue between booth and dancefloor. Not simply a b2b, but a shared conversation between artists and audience, sound, space and emotion. The launch pad will be activated by biased, lead curator of the experience and an advocate for a form of DJing that reaches far beyond the sequencing and assembly of tracks. See you in the dance.
