ECHOES OF US SET TO IGNITE AUSTRALIA’S ELECTRONIC MUSIC SCENE GRAMMY-NOMINATED SIDEPIECE, GLOBAL HOUSE HEAVYWEIGHT MARTEN HØRGER AND SYDNEY-BORN WAX MOTIF LEAD A MAJOR TWO-CITY ELECTRONIC MUSIC DEBUT Presented by Tang Events, ECHOES OF US will make its Australian debut this November, bringing together some of the biggest names in contemporary electronic music spanning Tech House, Minimal Tech and Techno, alongside a strong roster of Australian artists. Leading the line-up is SIDEPIECE, the Grammy-nominated American duo behind On My Mind, their Diplo collaboration that earned a nomination for Best Dance/Electronic Recording at the 2021 GRAMMY Awards. German producer Marten Hørger follows, bringing more than 150 million global streams, major festival credits including Tomorrowland and EDC, and collaborations with artists including David Guetta, Alesso and Tchami. Matroda has become one of the defining names in contemporary Tech House, with his signature matrodasound, Terminal Underground label and major festival appearances establishing a global following. Adding a strong Australian connection is Wax Motif, the Sydney-born, LA-based producer and one of Australia’s most successful electronic exports. A key figure in G-House and contemporary House music. Upcoming DJ and producer Coco Bevan will also join the bill. MALAA, recognised for his trademark masked identity and dark, bass-heavy sound, has built a cult following through releases on Tchami’s Confession label and performances at major international dance festivals. Rounding out the international bill is HILLS, an emerging electronic act bringing a fresh, genre-blending sound to the next generation. The line up delivers a diverse mix of established global names, influential electronic acts and emerging talent to a single bill, alongside Australian artists representing the strength of the local Tech House, Minimal Tech and Techno community. ECHOES OF US will take over White Bay Power Station, transforming the iconic industrial landmark into a large-scale electronic music environment where architecture, sound, lighting and production become part of the experience to deliver a raw, high-energy setting for a full-scale electronic music experience. .
