
Promised Wax is back at Goya! On October 30th, Promised Wax takes over Goya Social Club for a night of groovy, nostalgic and timeless house, with a special guest from Paris: Occibel. A DJ and producer shaping his sound since 2012, Occibel blends Electro Funk, Deep House, Italo Disco and Progressive House, drawing on the spirit of 80s, 90s and 2000s electronic music. His records have come out on labels including Pilot, Stay At Home, Koltrax, Hoarder and Physical Education, and he runs his own imprint, Playfool Records, and co-founded Roulade Records. His sets have taken him from Grelle Forelle in Vienna to Trabendo in Paris, and he recently played a session for Ruido Sound in Madrid. He will share the booth with Matthieu Faubourg, Santa Fe, Joanna K and NØGR. Matthieu Faubourg: French producer, known for the deep house anthem "Please Stay", which has gathered millions of views on YouTube and recently played by Chris Stussy on an unreleased edit version. His sound blends deep house with jazz and garage influences. He has just released his new EP, Overseas. Santa Fe: One of the regular resident DJs at Goya, behind Flava nights, playing his classic back-to-back set with Matthieu Faubourg. Joanna K: Polish DJ based in Barcelona, bringing a full vinyl set full of craziness and groove NØGR: resident of the Promised Wax collective, expect a heavy warm up full of bass A night made for dancing, with the Funktion-One sound system at its best.
