FACELESS MASQUERADE w.OLHA[DRIFTKYIV]

ABY’SS HALLOWEEN: FACELESS MASQUERADE On October 31, Aby’ss Shanghai presents FACELESS MASQUERADE, a Halloween night dedicated to anonymity, transformation and underground electronic music. For this special occasion, every guest is invited to wear a BDSM mask or any other mask of their choice for free and enter the rave incognito. Behind each mask, identity disappears and the dance floor becomes a space for freedom, mystery and uninhibited expression. The lineup brings together Kyiv-based DJ and producer Olha from DRIFTKYIV and Aby’ss resident Discipline for a night of dark, hypnotic and uncompromising club music. OLHA [DRIFTKYIV] Headlining the night is Olha, a Kyiv-based DJ and member of DRIFTKYIV, an independent platform and community connected to Ukraine’s underground electronic music scene. Her sets move through dark techno, hypnotic rhythms and intense, atmospheric soundscapes, balancing physical energy with a strong sense of tension and movement. For FACELESS MASQUERADE, Olha brings the spirit of Kyiv’s underground to Aby’ss, creating a soundtrack for a night where the boundaries between performer, dancer and stranger begin to disappear. DISCIPLINE Joining her is Aby’ss resident Discipline, whose sound is rooted in dark, driving and hypnotic techno. As part of the club’s resident team, Discipline represents the local energy and musical identity of Aby’ss, connecting the Shanghai dance floor with the club’s darker and more uncompromising side. His set will guide the night from the first shadows into the full intensity of the masquerade. FACELESS MASQUERADE For one night, Aby’ss becomes a space without names, faces or fixed identities. Every guest can receive and wear a BDSM mask or another mask of their choice for free, creating a collective atmosphere of anonymity and transformation. Come hidden, come mysterious, come as someone else—or as no one at all. The mask is not a costume requirement. It is an invitation to leave everyday identity at the door and experience the rave from a different perspective. Darkness. Anonymity. Freedom. Connection. HALLOWEEN AT ABY’SS Since 2021, Aby’ss has developed its identity around underground electronic music, bringing together international artists, local residents and independent club culture in Shanghai. This Halloween, the club presents a night built around the power of anonymity: a masked dance floor, intense electronic music and a shared experience beyond ordinary identity. Olha [DRIFTKYIV] and Discipline will provide the soundtrack for a rave where everyone is invited to disappear into the crowd.
