A bizarre world, glitching into existence for this one night. Leave reality (including your phone) at the wardrobe and step into the absurd, where surreal characters are waiting for you. Some things will change, here our ◈ FAQ (SK) ◈: > Dress Code The KitKat door policy applies. Our selector will prefer outfits which are: colourful, creative, sparkling, glittery, reflective, pink, mysterious, holographic. The standard black harness outfit will be tolerated, but not preferred. Check out @fourplayberlin on IG, which is our sister party and has tons of excellent outfits of real guests. > Why the secret music lineup? Join for the experience, not for a single headliner. Since DJs have enough spotlight in the club environment, we decided to refocus attention on art collectives, performers, storylines, and the awareness-concept. Here are some key facts about the musical program: ● Every floor = different music. House, Tech House, Techno, Bounce. ● Gender-balanced lineup. ● Artists are allowed to post, so if you dig a bit, you will find out who is playing. > Is LIMINAL at KitKat a sex-positive event? Yes - but we treat open sexuality as a side effect rather than the main attraction. In a safer space for free expression, sexuality is simply one form that expression can take. Our focus is clearly on artistic expression, world building, shenanigans, and other mindfuckery. We're critical of putting sexuality at the centre, because it creates expectations and pressure - which, ironically, kills any sexual vibe. > Why the Awareness Team? We are trying to create an equalising space in which it does not matter who you are. A space where you can get a brief rest from the over-regulated outside world and experience connection and play while your boundaries are respected. As much as we want to believe in this utopia, we know that such an environment can be exploited. The awareness team is a low-barrier touchpoint for you if you experience any form of boundary crossing or discrimination. They are here to listen, take you out of the situation, and assist you if you are unwell.
