Drawing on 90s Britpop with flashes of shoegaze and psychedelia, London-based Happy Neighbours pair forward-driving guitars and raw vocals with melodies made to be sung back in crowded rooms. Their songs turn familiar places and everyday experiences of growing up in Britain into stories of identity, relationships and city life. The band have received support from BBC Introducing, Top Note Magazine, while building their live reputation across London including a sold-out headline gig at the 100 Club in summer. Now they bring that energy to Strongroom Shoreditch for their next London headline show. Joining them all the way from the Netherlands are Headfirst. Headfirst is a five piece band with a big sound, blending catchy hooks with infectious energy. Their music has evolved from gritty roots to a more refined and mature Britpop resembling tone, showcasing their musical growth and versatility. And the Strand, a four-piece grunge-pop band drawing influence from the raw sound and attitude of Nirvana.
