Mad or What is a journey into the souls of some of Brooklyn’s most twisted souls, where BootyLoaf BabyMade will take a piece of your booty, bake it into a delicious loaf of bread and eat it while laying down his dextrous bars on the mic. DJ Thank God will shred your cognition with the bewildering sounds of Attention Deficit Dance Music and Brazilian Tecnobrega. DJ Memories Everlasting and Poignant will shock you with his homemade mixing equipment, bouncing between boingy bassline beats and quirked up Twee bangers in a startlingly danceable fashion for the fact he only uses MIDI files. Finally, DJ Ducky is going to give a lecture on the contradictions of modern life, frenetically blending fried SoundCloud Sigilkore deep cuts, Trashwave, Soca and more in transitions so nonsensical they defy the laws of physics and shatter the listener’s perception of reality, but simultaneously done with enough empathy and feeling that the listener is reminded of the cosmic threads which bind us all together.
