On 7 November, Yellow Mellow and Ausländerbehörde come together in Istanbul for a two-floor night at Şahika. After crossing paths across different dancefloors and nights in Berlin, we’re bringing both collectives together for a special night in Istanbul. Joining us is Appleblim, one of the most distinctive and long-standing figures in UK bass culture. Moving between dubstep, bass music and broken rhythms, Appleblim has built a sound that has remained singular for years, and we’re very happy to host him in our hometown. On the second floor, The Apricots will be taking over. Based between Berlin and Romania, and closely connected to spaces such as Club der Visionaere and Hoppetosse through their sets and residencies, they will bring the deeper and more groove-driven side of the night. Residents from Yellow Mellow and Ausländerbehörde will complete the lineup across both floors. Two collectives, two floors, and a long night connecting Berlin and Istanbul through bass, groove and everything in between.
