Dance performance / Sound / Art installation Unfolding simultaneously as a concert, a poetry recital and a contemporary dance performance, Half-Dead-Body-Talks explores the complexity of human encounters. We borrow our shapes from a living archive. Sounds produced by the body, both voluntarily and involuntarily, are perceived and metamorphosed as music. Half-Dead-Body-Talks inhabits the space between the fragile and the enduring, searching for what remains when familiar constructs begin to fall apart. It could have been a show about ‘the end of times’ but it turned out to be a reflection on what comes after the end, grief, trust and the mechanisms of faith.
