Lacchesi is back, this time to headline FIST. The Mama Told Ya affiliate brings a distinctly French twist to heavy, floor-filling techno. His productions are defined by their subtly cinematic scope; a classic Lacchesi track starts in the realm of pure techno before blooming gradually into something grander and more breathtaking. He’s never one to shy on emotional impact, while maintaining a hard-edged rigor that is in line with the classics of the late ‘90s. Nene H returns. The Turkish-Azerbaijani artist has become revered as an undefinable, unstoppable creative force in modern club music. This year, she released “Second Skin,” a major milestone and a creative breakthrough. Speaking on the record, Nene describes “an enduring infatuation with the emotional complexity of sound,” and this sense of enamored curiosity permeates the entire work. It’s a thrill from start to finish. “I’m experimenting with sound,” she said in an interview. “That is where I find true freedom and I can be my full self.” Residents Word of Command and DJ Clone handle the rest of the program. True wildcards, their relentless dedication to the intersection of raw power and subversive strangeness has made them guiding lights in the US underground. Jubilee joins, bringing a taste of Florida to STUDIO. The Magic City label founder is a renowned proponent of modern electro, grime, dancehall and more. A truly audacious DJ whose selections brook no quarter, Jubilee has spent the last decade-plus setting off countless parties and leaving innumerable dancefloors in a state of sweat-soaked delirium. Mez Monty joins from LA. A true house DJ through and through, Monty embraces the hallmarks of the genre: diva vocals, euphoric builds and infectious grooves. He’s fully established in his hometown’s thriving club underground, helping to maintain and grow a queer nightlife culture that is currently undergoing a renaissance. Connor Wrong adds an unexpected twist. No genre is off-limits, and Wrong weaves between the outer limits of psy, house, bass, grime and many more. ■ No photos or videos ■ Ticket purchase does not guarantee entrance ■ No phone use on the dancefloor ■ The dance floor is for dancing, not conversation ■ No glowing/flashing clothes or items ■ Respect other people's space, no shuffling ■ Consent is mandatory ■ Zero tolerance for racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, ableism or any form of discrimination ■ Take care of each other, alert our staff if somebody isn't feeling well ■ Violating the house rules will result in removal PLEASE REVIEW HOUSE POLICIES AT LINK BELOW
