An evening for listeners drawn to electronic music’s experimental edges, with a studio audience present as the performances are broadcast live. Ryo Fujimoto describes his practice as Ritual / Voice / Body & Sound Art: “Wild Voice / Sakebi. Beats. Phrases. Electronics. I release these signals into space, creating friction and change.” Founded by artist Naohiro Ukawa in 2010, SUPER DOMMUNE brings experimental music, contemporary art and live broadcasting into the same space. Its studio at Shibuya PARCO offers a chance to experience Tokyo’s creative culture as it happens. Ryo Fujimoto brings a practice rooted in voice and the body; Itti explores space and structure through sound; Takuma Nakata presents “auve,” an audiovisual work with fully synchronized sound and images.
