Madrid based collective R.E.M. returns to the club with a renewed sound and a different approach to the dancefloor for this new season. After moving away from mákina and harder styles, the project now explores a slower, more progressive and immersive territory, focusing on atmosphere, groove and long-form journeys rather than intensity for its own sake. The new sound moves between electro-house, acid basslines, balearic trance, tech-house and deep house amongst other genres. There’s room to play around and move in different directions, but everything still comes together as one cohesive journey. Deep enough to get lost in, fun enough to keep you dancing; and maybe dream a little along the way. -- El colectivo madrileño R.E.M. vuelve al club con un sonido renovado y una nueva forma de entender la pista de baile para esta nueva temporada. Tras alejarse de la mákina y los estilos más contundentes, el proyecto explora ahora un territorio más lento, progresivo e inmersivo, poniendo el foco en la atmósfera, el groove y los viajes de largo recorrido, en lugar de buscar intensidad por la intensidad misma. El nuevo sonido se mueve entre el electro-house, las líneas de bajo ácidas, el trance balear, el tech-house y el deep house, entre otros géneros. Hay espacio para jugar y tomar diferentes direcciones, pero todo acaba confluyendo en un mismo viaje cohesionado. Lo suficientemente profundo como para perderse en él, y lo suficientemente divertido como para no dejar de bailar; y quizá, de paso, soñar un poco.
