COTCH International and Gasworks Gallery combine forces to celebrate the launch of Paloma Contreras Lomas’ new exhibition 'Disco Inferno', with a line up showcasing the cream of the Mexican underground club scene, housed in a hallucinogenic bespoke installation, and powered by the formidable Formant Soundsystem. An artist that dives deep into Mexican folkloric tradition as well as reflecting on modern history, Paloma's reimagining of ORMSIDE Projects will see the space transformed into an hallucinogenic altar, with a bespoke installation in her signature “Mexican Baroque” style, converting the main club room into fully immersive and dreamlike environment. Providing the sounds will be some of the finest operators in Mexican club music, true pioneers of their craft. Expect pulsating 3ball rhythms, dubbed-out Cumbia, percussive Latin techno, and hypnotic visions of the underworld, all fed through one of the sweetest soundsystems in the city. Advanced tickets are heavily advised. -- Lineup: DJ Fucci Zutzut Microhm Pochola Joe Cotch -- Supported by Carhartt WIP -- The Lead Supporter for Paloma Contreras Lomas's exhibition is Prue MacLeod.
