LAST RESORT brings together a lineup connecting distinct rhythmic traditions and contemporary forms of club music, with the first part of the programme highlighted by a special presentation that will its debut in the city. Bringing his bass-heavy and sped-up sound, South African producer Serokolo 7 will make his first ever European appearance at the event, following the release of his acclaimed album on Nyege Nyege, one of the year's standout releases which even found its way into Björk's viral DJ set at Venice Biennale. Hassan Abou Alam will showcase his distinctive blend of Egyptian musical references, UK bass and experimental club production while French producer Amor Satyr will present his particular blend of rolling percussion, heavy bass and and playful rhythmic mutations. Not to miss is a b2b between Berlin-based dérive and Rafush who will move between bass pressure, shifting rhythms and genre-fluid club sounds. MORE ACTS TBA Funded by Musicboard Berlin GmbH
