DJs who capture Tokyo’s underground scene from their own unique perspectives have come together. SOGI, founder of STC, builds a distinctive groove that spans techno, bass, and tribal genres, centered around a minimalist soundscape. LEVOLANT, a resident at Mitsuki in Tokyo, organically blends house, techno, and electro-minimal. Also on the lineup is IRON, a resident at SAMSARA who plays techno centered on depth and immersion. Rounding out the lineup is Kai Galactic, who has long run DAYBREAK with a background in techno and deep house. The after-hours set will be taken over by NOVA, who guides the floor into deep immersion with an ever-changing sound born from the intersection of two artistic sensibilities and a groove that maintains consistent tension, and SAKUMA, who runs Modest—one of Tokyo’s premier parties—and skillfully shapes the flow of the floor over extended periods.
