A very special late night takeover of The Somerville building on Queens Road (SE14) for an all-out Halloween bash, powered by Lemon Lounge soundsystem, raising cash for the Somerville youth festival, with a mega lineup of Monsters Incorporated: Club Winston, Nangi, Tetka Nika, Jerry, Maríín of the Mummies, J. Ghoole, Spooky Ed, Arzou, Murrman Get lost in the continuum of spooky dub, surf rock horror, swampy synths, cumbia to scare ghosts by, alien-theremins, time warps and rave-tinted musics as we celebrate a fully vintage halloween. Expect sound effects. A DIY bar and bespoke menu. A karaoke spot for good measure. DIY creations, or dress-up of any kind, encouraged [no matter how small] - we’re even hosting a making day on 17th in Peckham if you want to get stuck in to create something weird. This party will be an out n out celebration of kids’ ideas and creations, as well as our own - so expect to see plenty of the monsters, illustrations, jellies and shadow puppets that they've made through the week and for their own party the day before. By trusting us with your Halloween night you will not only have partied under the roof of this truly iconic adventure playground in SE London, for a proper special night out, but you'll have helped us raise funds for the Somerville Youth Festival so we can do it even better in 2027, bringing in new mentors and coaches in music, dance, theatre and so much more. We want to see if parties like this in their epic space on the Queens Road might be a part of a future fundraising strategy, so jump aboard the Mystery Machine as we find out.
