Can punk rock help us have a better world? Chicago based independent queer band Pinksqueeze thinks so, and just might convince you, too! Formed as a two piece in 2018 and a full band in 2021, their bold and authentic sound brings a fresh take on punk, indie, and emo influences with infectiously hopeful messages to celebrate queer joy. Following their debut album Be Gay Have Fun (Voted best local album of 2023 in the Chicago Reader), the band has been recording, touring nationally, playing venues and festivals across Chicago.
