Pianist, singer and composer Astrid, is only beginning to make her mark on the music scene, both in the realms of Jazz and R&B, as a diverse artist. A recent graduate of the Manhattan School of Music, Astrid studied under the tutelage of Marc Cary, Jaleel Shaw and Buster Williams. Having received a scholarship to study in NYC, Astrid is now performing and recording regularly around the city, and is regularly touring the United States. She has had the opportunity to share the stage alongside notable musicians/artists in the industry such as drummer Terreon Gully, Damion Reid, Steve Lehmann, Kokayi, Laurin Talese, Sean Rickman, Anthony Tidd, and many others both established in, and coming up on the scene. Both a pianist and a singer, Astrid continues to develop her sound in Jazz, and is regularly exploring different genres of music through her versatility as a musician.
