ZORZA is back at Sekta Selekta for edition 9, this Friday. This time, our guest is JESS - DJ, selector and record collector, originally from Belarus and now based in Poland. Part of Warsaw-based label Mastak Records, luminescence.rar and the lampa event series. His sound comes from deep digging rather than obvious genre formulas — moving through broken rhythms, stripped-down techno, electro, dubby pressure and more introspective shades of electronic music. Shaped by a love for trip-hop, ambient and nu jazz, his selections carry a rare balance of sensuality, intelligence and restraint. As always, Chino & Kondrat are on board.
