11 PM - 4AM @trans.pecos Free before midnight RSVP! $15 Pre Sale (through venuepilot link) $20 Door. This Friday 4th september LATITUD3 calls on the frequencies of 3 cities *New York, Bogota, and Mexico City to converge at Trans Pecos. When we come together, the sounds we share continue to uplift and inspire us…somewhere between the coordinates. We take over the main room at trans Pecos from 11 pm to 4 am for a night built around movement, and music coallition. The club, as always, will act intentionally as a meeting point between entirely different upbringings. We are hoping with this project to spotlight how shockingly similar we all end up becoming when we share a dancefloor. This incredible phenomenon too often goes unnoticed and unappreciated. D3A opens the floor with a deep-cut and lively house set on vinyl. Steinbock19 invites Seikel for a special collaboration, turning up the energy further with rolling yet tight techno and latin sound. As headliners of the night, Tomás Urquieta and Deejay Energy link up to push their cutting-edge latin percussions and atmospheric elements into a new space. With more than 14 years of history in Mexico City’s underground scene, Deejay Energy has witnessed and been a driving force in its evolution, making the dance floor a predictable space. His journey has taken him to international platforms such as Boiler Room, Sound Metaphors, Rinse FM, The Lot Radio, and Dublab, as well as renowned venues including Tresor (Berlin), Corsica Studios (London), Video Club (Bogotá), Astron Bar (Athens), Forestlimit, Unit and Kagurane (Tokyo), Paragon (New York), and F8 (San Francisco). He has also participated in festivals such as UFO Camp (where he is a resident), Fascinoma, and curated a stage at Bahidorá. Tomás Urquieta, born in Chile and based in New York City, creates a unique fusion of bass music and techno. His style is powerful, with a solid impact and an unconventional structure, yet immensely danceable. Ai Ferri Corti, his third album released on Herrensauna, is packed with dancefloor bangers that showcase his mastery of high-energy, innovative techno. This work cements his reputation as one of the most exciting and forward-thinking artists in the electronic music scene for over a decade. Closing things out, Gon2 goes to battle with All Exits, sending us home with peak-time techno alongside their signature dark influences. NYC Come for the sound. Stay for the Journey.
