In celebration of our first year of programming, Mind Cargo presents an expansive evening gathering with close friends and collaborators devoted to the elastic, off-kilter, and tripped. A two-room function that melds the meditative and the percussive into a sum greater than its parts. In room one - a slow-burning, hypnotic experiment in the rhythmic, led by Gi Gi, DJ Female, Baroque Hoe, Fleet Dreams, Alien D and Plushie - melding driving, psychedelic arrangements with the sparse and sensual, and stretching deep into the night. In room two, Carpet (F.L.H.P.) and Mr. Murray will present a long-form exploration of pure ambient experimentalism - a dive into the chasm of the possible, what can and what should be.
