SCHALLFENSTER — SEASON OPENING SCHALLFENSTER opens its new season with an evening of music and photography, revisiting one of our most unusual projects to date: TRAM+. For the opening, Zurich-based architecture photographer Antonio Mesquita presents a selection of analogue photographs taken during the last TRAM+ — a moving party that transformed a Zurich tram into a temporary club. Known primarily for his architectural photography, Mesquita turns his lens here towards the fleeting situations, people and atmosphere of a night in motion. The exhibition is accompanied by three musical perspectives. Mono Moritz is a Zurich DJ and record collector with a deep interest in listening culture and hi-fi sound. Moving through jazz, Brazilian music, funk and dancefloor-oriented hidden gems, his selections are driven less by genre than by groove and careful listening. Therese is part of Zurich’s local club circuit, with appearances at spaces including Hive and Klaus. Alex Nantaya is a classically trained musician, vocalist, producer and DJ whose sound moves between hypnotic, groovy techno, experimental influences and more melodic territories.
