In 2012, he released the album *Shima DUB*, marking a return to his roots in Okinawa. This past October, the long-awaited vinyl release finally came to fruition. His one-of-a-kind sound—a fusion of traditional Okinawan music and dub—continues to captivate dedicated music lovers across generations. And now, *Shima DUB* will once again resonate at Takadanobaba 88block. Additionally, joining the lineup this time is MASTA T, a selector from the Japanese reggae sound system crew “BIG ANSWER SOUND,” formed in Manila, Philippines, in 2010. Also on the bill is CITY1, who has Okinawan roots, is an active member of the Japanese bass music collective “Back To Chill,” and heads the label “Mek Dem.” From “RANA-MUSICA RECORD STORE,” one of Tokyo’s premier record shops, comes viceman. DJ 101, a Drum & Bass heavyweight based in Nagoya’s underground scene, will also be joining the lineup. Masterfully wielding razor-sharp beats and deep, undulating basslines, he’ll bring a fresh vibration to the dance floor. ANELA and Yumic0rn, who continue their energetic activities based at the venue, 88block, will also be gathering. From DUB-HONJIN, Diceman and Aimos will shake the floor with their thick bass sounds. Okinawa, the Philippines, Nagoya, Oita, and Tokyo. The sounds and vibes cultivated in each of these regions will intersect once again at 88block in Takadanobaba. A night where people gather under the heavy bass, transcending both location and genre. Don’t miss this intense sound session.
