Welcome all, to Latinas in the House! As part of Hispanic Heritage Month, we are hosting a night honoring the legacy of Latin American Heritage in Women in House music. Move downstairs to the records of Seeps and Spiñorita, then take it upstairs for sets by Juliet Mendoza, Andy Oro, Guaparda (DJ set with live vocal tribute), and a special B2B set from Abbyliciouss and R.O.B.I.N. The night will also kick off with a 45-min panel where Latina DJs and promoters can share history, stories, and words of wisdom. This history has not always been well documented, and we would like to use this as an opportunity to share it. As the night continues, find more points of insight around the party as you move through The Airliner. *House Music has roots in Black, Brown, and LGBTQIA+ communities and their many intersections. We hope that through this night we can shine a light on the Latin American Heritage of many women in the community, one identity that has been a part of a beautiful genre that so many around the world are moved by.
