Matthew Mallinger is a musician & Creative Technologist based in Los Angeles, California. Originally from St. Paul, Minnesota, his music blends ambient soundscapes, jazz, and cinematic percussive music. Mallinger actively performs around the Los Angeles area, recently with the The Beyond the Flowered Gates Ensemble since the release of their record under the same moniker in the Fall of 2025. He'll be joined by takoda, Nicolas Maldonado, Dane Sandborg & V. Ontiveros on guitar, saxophone, bass, vocals & electronics, alongside his own live drumming and sampling. Recent performances with the ensemble have taken place at 2220 Arts & Archives, the Old Ace Hotel & Rare Candy alongside the likes of Daedelus, David Binney, Salami Rose Joe Louis & Bendik Giske. This will be the ensemble's first time performing in Venice, CA. Special Guest BOBBYY will be opening up the evening with a DJ set - we'd love to see you there!
