Flightless Frequencies makes its Naarm debut, bringing a little trans-Tasman energy to the upstairs dancefloor at Stingrays. Born in Tāmaki Makaurau, Aotearoa out of a shared love for underground electronic music and the communities built around it, Flightless Frequencies is all about building eclectic line ups of selectors who appreciate music with substance, as well as building inclusive, welcoming dance floors, for a house party with your best friends kind of feel, where you can be free to just boogie and be yourself. For our first transmission on Australian soil, we’re taking a genre-fluid approach. Expect a journey through house, techno, bass, breaks, and plenty of unexpected detours along the way. No fixed flight path, just six hours of music for the dancefloor. Join us upstairs at Stingrays for an intimate night of cross-Tasman connections, familiar faces and new friends. And of course, really good tunes… Saturday 7 November | 7pm–1am Stingrays Upstairs, Bodriggy Brewing, Abbotsford.
