“Choryo Bakko(跳梁跋扈)” began in July two years ago as the closing event for the first solo exhibition by photographer Taiyo Tanida and graphic artist toi. For this seventh installment, we feature YO.AN, who is signed to HOLE AND HOLLAND. He has provided tracks and DJ mixes to domestic and international brands and labels, including EVISEN SKATEBOARDS, TIGHTBOOTH, and BLACK SMOKER, as well as GUCCI, NIKE, adidas, and SONY. He also performs extensively as a DJ both domestically and internationally, including on NTS Radio in Hong Kong, Shanghai, and London. Since 2023, he has organized the “SLAM” party and also hosts “BASSARA,” an event focusing on international artists, on an irregular basis. Based in Tokyo, S.H.V. spans a diverse range of genres, including bass, techno, and tribal. While racing around Tokyo as a messenger, he has performed at numerous parties, including the laid-back “JOURNEY RAVE” and “PURE RAVE,” as well as “slow burning.” SAWAKEN shakes the floor with party vibes honed on the scene and a hard, intense sound. Plus, SHONE—who has refined his unique style in Australia—makes an emergency return to Japan for the first time in about a year and three months, coming back to the “rampant” dance floor.
