Detroit emcee Valid, mentored by Grammy-winning, diamond-certified producer DJ Head, has built a reputation as one of the Motor City's most authentic voices. His debut album Mihajlo (2019) and follow-up The Plum Brandy EP drew attention globally — especially in Eastern and Southern Europe — earning SiriusXM spins from DJ Premier, Statik Selektah, and Tony Touch. In 2023, Valid formed the acclaimed duo Bill & Isiah with Detroit legend Stretch Money, charting nationally across college radio, landing a standout Shade45 freestyle, and sharing stages with Xzibit, Dogg Pound, and 8Ball & MJG. 2024 raised the stakes further: a feature alongside Eminem, Gmac Cash, Stretch Money, and PL in the Detroit Tigers City Connect campaign, and the full-length Peach Brandy LP, backed by a block party sponsored by Hennessy, Modelo, Bacardi, Red Bull, and Twisted Tea. That same year, Valid made his international debut co-headlining Preach The Rič in Europe with Arrested Development, then returned to headline his own Eastern European tour. He also linked with WWE's Ethan Page to write and feature on "Child's Play," built into an on-screen WWE storyline — and in 2025, his single "Joy Ride" landed in the star-studded film Code 3, marking his big-screen breakthrough.
