KITTY AMOR London’s Kitty Amor has become one of the leading voices in Afro House and African influenced electronic music, building a sound rooted in deep percussion, soulful vocals, hypnotic rhythms and the musical traditions of the African diaspora. Her rise has taken her to some of the most important stages in global dance music, including Glastonbury, Tomorrowland, Hï Ibiza, Printworks, The Warehouse Project, fabric and Defected, with performances spanning Ibiza, Tulum, Amsterdam, Berlin, Dubai and South Africa. Along the way, Kitty has shared lineups with some of electronic music’s biggest names, including Black Coffee, Maceo Plex, Fisher and Vintage Culture. Black Coffee personally selected her to support his London festival, and she later became the first female DJ to perform at his celebrated Deep In The City event in Johannesburg. Beyond the booth, Kitty is the founder of Mahaba Music, her label under the Defected family created to champion African electronic music and bring its artists to a wider global audience.
