At its heart, this collaboration is about supporting Vancouver’s creative community and bringing together two places that love gathering people. Ursa Major and The Lido are rooted in individuality, a strong point of view, and a healthy appreciation for not taking ourselves too seriously. The wine itself is a Gamay and Cabernet Franc co-ferment rosé, made with organically farmed grapes from Naramata. Naturally fermented in barrel and aged for 10 months, it’s light, fresh, juicy, and floral, with a little more character beneath the surface. Expect strawberries and raspberries, delicate pink flowers, and a savoury, sea-salty finish. It’s playful and easygoing without sacrificing complexity. Interesting enough for the wine nerds, delicious enough for everyone else. The Lido is a place for rockers and rollers, chillers, chess players, and late-night dancers. After plenty of back-and-forth about what to call the wine, we landed on The Bus Stops Here - partly because, well, it literally does. But it’s also an invitation to take the bus, explore a few neighbourhood pubs along the way, and make us your final stop of the night. Think of us as the last stop on your little Vancouver pub crawl. You’re welcome. Join us on October 28th from 7pm - 1am to be celebrate and be the first to try The Bus Stops Here. Rajen and Bree from @ursamajorwinery will be here to walk you through the vibes of the wine and @pacificspirit will be holding down the sounds all night. Let’s party.
