고치현 출신으로 현재 도쿄에 거주 중이다. 2011년부터 DJ 및 오거나이저로 활동을 시작했다. 특유의 루프감으로 플로어에 적절한 완급 조절과 긴장감을 선사하는 플레이, 그리고 테크노를 스토익하게 탐구하는 태도로 호평을 얻으며 일본 전국 각지의 파티에서 다수의 DJ 공연을 펼쳤다. 2014년 도쿄로 거주지를 옮긴 후, 동세대의 kannabi와 함께 테크노 파티 'Katharsis'를 주최하며 이끌었다. 2017년에는 Katharsis의 음악적 세계관을 구현하기 위한 레이블 'Katharsis Recordings'를 설립하고, 첫 바이닐 EP인 「Katharsis 001」을 발매했다. 2018년에는 자신에겐 첫 유럽 투어에 나서 베를린을 포함한 2개국 3개 도시에서 플레이를 선보였다. 코로나 펜데믹 시기에는 Liquid Drop Groove와 공동으로 야외 파티를 지원하며 레이브에서의 DJ 및 오거나이징, 야외 행사 운영 경험을 쌓았다. 2023년에는 Katharsis를 통해 자신의 리믹스 트랙이 포함된 EP 바이닐을 발매했다. 2024년부터는 하드웨어 신디사이저를 활용한 라이브 세트(Live set) 활동을 시작했다. - Relocating to Tokyo in 2014, Masafumi Take co-founded the flagship techno party Katharsis alongside his peer kannabi, establishing a crucial pillar in the city's underground landscape.
