LIL LOUIS is an international artist, producer, songwriter, DJ, author and film composer, widely known as “The Founding Father of House Music.” With over 50 years behind the decks, his sound has help shape House, Techno, EDM and Pop, influencing generations of DJs and producers around the world. Louis began DJing in Chicago at just 12 years old, before mixers, drum machines or even disco. By 15, he had hosted what is considered the world’s first rave, and soon became one of Chicago’s most influential club figures. In 1987, he released “French Kiss,” one of the most important House records made. The worldwide hit sold millions of copies and established Lil Louis as one of the biggest dance artists of his generation. His acclaimed albums include From the Mind of Lil Louis, Journey with the Lonely and Two Sides to Every Story.
