Small Black Announces POSTCARD NYC, a New Micro-Festival at Xanadu in Brooklyn BROOKLYN, NY — On Saturday, October 3, Brooklyn's own chillwave pioneers Small Black will debut the first edition of POSTCARD NYC, a new micro-festival taking over Xanadu, the roller skating rink and live music venue in Bushwick. The afternoon-into-late-night event marks Small Black's only live performance of 2026 and will feature a career-spanning set, followed by a late-night DJ set from the band. POSTCARD NYC: Skate '26 begins with an early roller skating session before transforming into a full live concert and late-night dance party. Curated by Small Black, the lineup brings together friends and peers from the chillwave era, including Memory Tapes, Skylar Spence, and Brothertiger, alongside a new generation of NY artists with sets from DV-i ,Astoria, PAYW4LL and Persona La Ave .
