Dinamarca, a Stockholm-based artist of Chilean descent, is set to perform in Tokyo for the first time in a party co-organised by AMINO ACID and Local World. Having made a name for himself with a unique soundscape described as ‘ambient reggaeton’ with a pop-infused nostalgia, Dinamarca is based in Stockholm—the city that has produced artists such as Mechatok and Toxe. Building on the foundation of Staycore, the label she co-runs, she has collaborated with artists including rusowsky, AKRIILA, Ralphie Choo, Meth Math, AMORE, Eartheater, La Favi, and has garnered immense acclaim as a key figure in the deconstructed club sound of the late 2010s. Dinamarca is set to make his long-awaited debut performance in Japan. The Tokyo show is co-organised by AMINO ACID, run by NTsKi, and Local World, run by melting bot. His music is rooted in Latin dancefloor styles such as dembow and reggaeton, yet is filtered through his distinctive ‘sunset-hued’ lens; his sound is equally suited to the first rays of sunlight streaming into the club at dawn as it is to quietly daydreaming whilst wearing headphones. In recent years, Dinamarca’s music has shifted away from the intensity found in his early club-oriented work. Instead, a more dreamlike and introspective sound, incorporating pop elements, has emerged. His genre-bending approach is clearly evident in releases such as the critically acclaimed album *soñao* and the *Fantasilandias* series. This evolution has been shaped by collaborations with a diverse range of vocalists and artists from around the world, including rusowsky, AKRIILA, Ralphie Choo, Meth Math, AMORE, Eartheater and La Favi. These collaborations have yielded outstanding tracks such as ‘mwah :3’ with rusowsky, which became an international hit. In 2025, Dinamarca continued to expand his sonic universe through the captivating project ‘headphones!’ with AKRIILA and ‘pachamami’ with Meth Math; both fully demonstrate his ability to explore new territories whilst maintaining his unique, dreamlike sound. In 2026, Dinamarca released the collaborative EP ‘MEGAMIX’ (four tracks in total) with El Bug, an up-and-coming artist from Granada known for his raw yet sophisticated sound. Produced in just two days, this project is a collaboration that masterfully blends Dinamarca’s dreamlike and sophisticated production with El Bag’s intuitive and charismatic vocals, creating a work that captivates listeners and stirs their emotions. Also released in 2026, *DRÖMHUS* is an eight-track album that marks a new chapter in Dinamarca’s artistic evolution. Featuring vocalists from around the world—including Puerto Rico, Mexico City, Paris, Bogotá, Santiago de Chile and Barcelona—this project blends his signature atmospheric sound with a global yet deeply personal vision that has taken shape over the past two years. Through collaborations with artists such as Mushkaa, Natt Calma, Chzter, Sa!koro and Teyma, *DRÖMHUS* further expands the world Dinamarca has built in recent years, creating his trademark sound—one that is both futuristic and nostalgic, pure and refined. AMINO ACID: A label and party collective led by Kyoto-born artist, DJ and producer NTsKi.
