Founded in 2020, Evaporate 蒸發 is rooted in Minimal, with a sound that moves between Techno and House. Minimal Techno and Tech House form its main thread, while the label continues to branch out and blend in elements from different styles — sometimes Trippy and psychedelic, sometimes Progressive and evolving, with echoes of Dub or the electronic textures of Electro. To date, Evaporate has released over 50 digital releases and one vinyl record, with its sound reaching far beyond Taiwan. From Beatport and Bandcamp to official Spotify playlists and physical record stores across Europe, Evaporate’s music continues to find its way into different corners of the scene. The label’s two co-founders have also been invited to play in cities including Berlin, Oslo, Seoul, Bangkok, Cape Town, Shanghai, and Beijing, continuing to bring the sound of Taiwan into different scenes around the world.
