Syz Syz thrills in the groove, an artist of UK club singularity who revels in twisted rhythms and sound-sculpted bass weight. A vast network of influences and intentions inform the Syz style. It’s a unique sound, respectful to house and techno past while moving modern with wry grime textures and sub-heavy dynamics; percussive grooves layered with sharp garage swing, found sounds and bass pressure. He’s been prolific in music making, with releases on Pressure Dome, Control Freak Recordings, Banoffee Pies, Obligated Records, Unknown Untitled, Bokhari Records, Peach Discs and more. Syz is an avid digger and ambitious deck technician who maintains a giddy sense of excitement with a learned understanding of the dancefloor. This is evident on various transmissions for London’s Rinse FM while also notable club appearances at FOLD, Venue MOT, Corsica Studios, plus internationally across China, Japan, USA, Copenhagen, Germany and more. 2025 saw the launch of Vitalizm, Syz’ imprint of ‘club rhythms for the soul’.
