CUMBIA FEST BERLIN is back as part of the Día de los Muertos program at Holzmarkt - a celebration where music, dance, memory and tradition come together. For one night, the SÄÄLCHEN becomes a space between worlds, bringing together live music, DJs, performances, colour and sound. Día de los Muertos is about continuity: memories, traditions and rhythms that keep moving through time, connecting us across countries and generations. Music brings us closer to those who are no longer here, keeping their memories alive in our bodies, our stories and our movements. KUMBIA BORUKA returns to Cumbia Fest after two years, bringing the powerful sound of the Mexican streets: Colombian cumbia fused with tropical rhythms, psychedelic guitars, brass and accordion. Their conscious lyrics speak of migration, struggle, hope and the memory of home. iLLBiLLY HiTEC ft. Longfingah brings their Berlin-made blend of reggaetronics and bass-heavy sounds infused with Latin beats straight to the dancefloor.
