Evasive Records lands at Wavio Room for an intimate night of underground house, bringing together five selectors who share the label’s appetite for deep grooves, stripped-back rhythms and rolling basslines. At the heart of the night is Rob Pearson, the driving force behind Evasive Records. His productions and selections run through the label’s identity, rooted in the UK’s 90s and 00s tech house sound and still pushing forward. Paul Donton joins him to dig deep into the underground, bringing his own flavour to a night built around the Evasive ethos. Triform steps up following his release on Tristan da Cunha’s Hallucinate imprint, adding another distinct voice to the session. Sam Hoggard joins the booth with room to explore the deeper corners of house and keep the floor moving. Completing the lineup is PAS, the OnTime Records co-founder and part of the Evasive family, connecting his love of old-school tech house with fresh underground selections. Five individual approaches, connected by one shared sound. With just 100 spaces at Wavio Room, this is Evasive Records up close. Free entry before midnight. £5 after.
